Blubber House Creek is located off Boal Quay which is an inlet from the River Great Ouse. The creek got its name from the Whaling industry that was prolific in the 18th centuary in King's Lynn.

- Please excuse my blog for the moment whilst I work out what I want to achieve. I enjoy writing and I decided to write this blog is about some of my travels. I am currently studying part-time at Surrey University for a Masters degree in Sustainable Development which I hope to complete during 2011. I like to go walk about with my camera when I have the time and it does not encroach on family life. Although I am stuck behind a desk in a stuffy office, one of my other passions is for hiking - or infact most out doors type stuff, skiing when we can, mountain biking too. I like to think I am a bit of an adventurer, never go the short route, but explore the long route :D
